The Hopper Alarm Constantly SoundingUpdated a month ago
If the hopper alarm is continuously sounding, here are a few things to check.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG YOUR GRILL before you start looking over any parts.
- Hopper Fuel Level: Is your hopper empty or running low? Open the lid and check the fuel level. If the pellets are not covering the alarm, it will continue to sound.
- Type of Pellets: What type of pellets are you using? Some darker-toned pellets may not register with the alarm, which will cause it to sound until you replace the pellets with lighter-toned ones.
- Alarm Functionality: If the hopper is full with the correct type of pellets and the alarm is still sounding, try disconnecting and reconnecting the alarm from the back of the control panel. If the sound persists, the alarm may be broken and will need to be replaced. Please email HARKBBQ to order a replacement.
